Hello all! It's nearing that time of the year again, the LIVESTRONG Challenge is just around the corner. On June 29, 2008 I'll be riding 70 miles to help in the fight against cancer. I'm also trying to raise $500 (or more) to further aid the cause. This is my third year doing the Challenge, it has come to define my summers as I train to get ready for it.

More than 1.3 million people in the U.S. will be diagnosed with cancer this year alone. Three out of four families in America will be faced with caring for a family member with cancer.

I'm pretty sure that I send out this information every year, and every year my participation in the ride is a much a dedication to those afflicted as an open acknowledgement that it takes a multitude of single participants to make a difference for the greater whole. So I gladly take on the 70 miles -- with full knowledge that I won't sit right for days afterwards -- but for the fundraising I need your help.
