Crater Lake in the early morning. Another panoramic composite, but this one seemed to be better suited to NOT being stitched seamlessly.

This image also represents a new class of panoramic photo that I'm calling "massive composites", meaning it's huge. The image I'm sharing here is a presented at 20% it's actual size -- the full-res image is a whopping 5 times this size (about 24000x4750 px).

Damn.

I hope to have more of these in the future, although they obviously are a handful to toss about in photoshop -- my computer hates me right now.

I love this. It'd be nice to have scenery like that around my place. Can't find things like that around here. Very awesome!

You put out some amazing photography. I've always enjoyed how you lay out your photography as well, and the B&W adds a lot of depth to your shots. Well done.

stunning, and thank you for making it black and white, you can really see the contrast

You're welcome ;) Last time I did a Crater Lake pano in B/W I got hassled by those who assumed it would naturally do better in color. In fact, it is the light and details that make the view, the color is a mere 5% of the whole experience (and one I'd gladly lose in order to enhance the remaining 95%).

I really like how you did the composite, leaving the gaps between each part of the image really works for this image!
