A view from the top of the Hood River Express chair from Mt. Hood Meadows, Oregon. This was taken last year, and I aim to get an even better shot this year somewhere around Heather Canyon and the bowl.

I really want to get back on the slopes and this picture just increases the desire.
Ive been on skis since the age of 6 and am saddened by the decreasing snow amounts in switzerland every year.

I would have liked some more contrast, i feel like the sky should have some darker patches in it. Making the blacks black and the whites white.

also, what's up with the grey snow on the far left? :o

Beautiful panorama! My family used to do a lot of cross country skiing around Mt. Hood back in the 90's. My father learned downhill skiing in the Alps...and came back to the 'states with bruises measured by the square foot. The wife and I will probably end up learning downhill skiing in the Alps too, since we're moving to Germany in about a month...:)
