Another shot from the Cape Horn overlook along the Columbia Gorge... this area is basically becoming my testing grounds as I try out a few new things and figure out what works and what doesn't with RAW settings. For example, I learned that you can't work miracles with details outside the bounds of your basic exposure settings (minor adjustments are ok). As a result, this image is a bit dark -- and although I think it works here I'm going to admit it was an accident and learn from it.

Not a ton of clouds and other "sunrise-esque" features appeared for this photoshoot, but if you're up before dawn to take a photo, that's usually its own reward. This panoramic captures the peacefulness of that time of day rather well, even if it IS a little dark (turns out, that's just how that time of day is

Could I use this landscape for a non-commercial poster for my micronation?

We don't sell the images. We do alter them, though, by adding words, slogans, and symbols to them. Our policy is to add the name of the artist in 10-pt New Times Roman font on the lower-right corner of the image. Seeing as you have your name there already, we would leave it. We just need your permission, though.
