Has anyone here bought an Intuos 4? If so I'd love to hear your thoughts on it -- Pros and cons. I work at the firm that designed it and was constantly trying to push the "artist" point of view in the process... how'd we do?
I don't own one, but I've seen previews of it. One HUGE thing I can say I like about it is the touch wheel, which can be configured for photoshop/painter canvas rotation. May seem like a small thing, but that feature alone has me jealous of Intuos 4 owners now.
From what I've been able to tell (just from the ads and such) it looks perfect, an enormous improvement over the Intuos 3 in almost every way possible. Wish I had the money to upgrade...

I was gonna buy the Intuos 3 a6 on my c-card due to the ridiculous prices we get saddled with in South Africa, but all of a sudden there wasn't any stock available... apparently due to the intuos 4. So, I opted for a Genius M712 instead. I'm quite happy with the tablet, but I've decided to save up instead and buy the wacom 4 within the next 12 - 16 months. I'm sure Wacom kicks A$$, but so does the price tag associated with it.
I was just presented a brand spankin' new one by my employer. It truly is a stroke of genius. The speed ring has def made some improvements to my workflow w/ the zoom and scroll functionality. Its also closer to the desk so less strain on the wrist and hand. Its a lot less elevated than the 2 or 3. And its a noticeable improvement.
The medium also feels pretty spot on in terms of size. Bit of a shame I go home to an intuos2. >< At least... until I get me a 4 for the home office. ^^
