Description
As much as I love Mt. Hood, it's high time I started stalking another volcano. And what better subject to move on to than Mt. St. Helens? This is my first panoramic, composited from almost 100 shots taken from the railing of Johnston Ridge Observatory. While I usually avoid stark midday sunlight at all costs, I can't help but notice how well it works for lighting the details of St. Helen's eruption-blasted landscape. Looking forward to experimenting with different viewpoints, lighting and weather.
